Manta offers multiple packaging formats including:

  • Plastic pails
  • Drums
  • IBC totes
  • Bags
  • Custom packaging available on request

Packaging type and size vary by product and order volume. Minimum order quantities may apply. Please contact our sales team for product-specific packaging specifications.

03 How is pricing determined?

Our pricing is based on order volume, product specifications, and shipping destination. We offer competitive pricing with volume-based discounts and are happy to provide a formal quotation within 24 business hours of your inquiry.

04 What are your payment terms?

We accept the following payment methods:

  • T/T (Wire transfer): T/T (Wire transfer) or 30% deposit, 70% before shipment
  • L/C at sight
  • Net 30: available for qualified returning customers after credit review
  • PayPal: accepted for sample orders under USD 500

All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified.

05 How can I request samples?

Manta provides samples of standard products to support your formulation development and quality verification. Please send your sample request to our sales team including:

  • Product code of interest
  • Intended application or formulation
  • Quantity needed
  • Shipping address with recipient contact information

Standard product samples typically ship within 3 business days. Custom or R&D samples may require 1 to 3 weeks depending on formulation complexity.

06 Are samples free?

Standard product samples up to 200 g are provided free of charge for formulation evaluation. Sample quantities exceeding 200 g, or custom-formulated samples, are billed at standard pricing.

Sample costs may be credited toward subsequent commercial orders -- please confirm with your sales representative at the time of sample request. Shipping costs are typically borne by the customer, using the customer's carrier account (FedEx, DHL, UPS) or prepaid by us and invoiced at cost.

07 How do I verify product quality before a full order?

We encourage all customers to conduct in-house evaluation before commercial procurement. For every sample shipment, we provide:

  • Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for the specific batch
  • Technical Data Sheet (TDS)
  • Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

If you need third-party certification or specific test reports, please discuss with your sales representative -- we can often arrange independent verification at cost.

08 What if the product does not perform as expected in my formulation?

We take performance concerns seriously. If a product does not meet the specifications on its TDS or underperforms in your formulation, please contact us immediately with:

  • Batch number and CoA
  • Formulation details (as much as you can share)
  • Description of the performance issue
  • Test conditions and equipment used

Our technical team will review and work with you to identify the root cause. Where a specification deviation is confirmed on our side, we will replace the material or issue a credit note per our sales terms.

Note: performance outcomes in finished formulations depend on many variables (dosage, mixing conditions, substrates, curing conditions, ambient temperature). We encourage early communication so our application engineers can help troubleshoot.

09 What are your MOQ, production lead time, and delivery time?

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)

Varies by product -- as low as the smallest standard package for catalog items, higher for custom grades.

Production Lead Time

Typically 7 to 14 working days for standard products; 2 to 4 weeks for custom or low-volume specialty grades.

Delivery Time After Production

3 to 7 days by air; 25 to 45 days by sea depending on destination.

Mixed orders (multiple products in one shipment) are welcome. Please contact sales with your target quantities for a specific lead-time commitment.

10 Can I use my own brand / private label on the packaging?

Yes. Manta accepts OEM / private-label orders. Please share the following details to initiate the process:

  • Brand name and logo artwork (vector format preferred: AI, EPS, PDF)
  • Required label language(s)
  • Regulatory labeling requirements for your market (GHS pictograms, UN number, etc.)
  • Order volume
  • Target delivery date

A one-time label design and tooling setup fee applies. Minimum order quantity for private-label orders is typically higher than standard catalog orders.

11 Can I visit your facility for a meeting and audit?

Absolutely. We welcome customer visits to our Nanjing headquarters and production facilities. To arrange a visit, please contact your sales representative at least 2 weeks in advance with:

  • Names and passport details of visitors (for invitation letter and visa support)
  • Preferred dates
  • Agenda and topics of interest (technical review, supplier audit, QC walkthrough, etc.)

We can assist with visa invitation letters, local hotel bookings, and airport transfers.

Alternatively, you can meet our sales team at major industry exhibitions such as European Coatings Show, American Coatings Show, China Coat, Adhesives Expo, and In-Cosmetics etc.

12 How do I choose the right product for my formulation?

Selecting the best grade depends on your specific formulation system. To provide a meaningful recommendation, our technical team will typically ask:

Application context

  • What end product are you formulating? (sealant / adhesive / coating / waterproofing, etc.)
  • What performance properties are you optimizing for?
  • Is your system water-based or solvent-based?

Chemistry context

  • Base polymer or resin system?
  • Fillers, pigments, or substrates involved?
  • Are you currently using a reference product from another supplier? (helpful for benchmarking)

Regulatory / market context

  • Target market and applicable regulations (REACH, TSCA, food-contact, etc.)
  • Any formulation constraints (VOC limits, tin-free requirement, PFAS-free requirement)

Based on your inputs, we'll propose 1 to 3 candidate grades, provide comparative TDS data, and ship samples for evaluation. Our application engineers are available to discuss formulation questions via email.

13 Do you provide regulatory documentation for global markets?

Yes. We provide the following documentation with all commercial orders (and upon request for samples):

  • Certificate of Analysis (CoA) -- batch-specific
  • Technical Data Sheet (TDS)
  • Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
  • REACH registration number or pre-registration status (for EU markets)
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Commercial invoice and packing list for customs

Additional market-specific documentation (K-REACH, Turkey REACH, Brazil, etc.) can be arranged -- please request at the order stage.

14 Do you provide technical and formulation support?

Yes. Our technical team supports customers in three areas:

  • Product selection: help identifying the most suitable Manta grade for your application
  • Formulation troubleshooting: reviewing performance issues, compatibility concerns, cure behavior
  • Substitution support: mapping Manta grades to competitor references with comparative data

Technical consultation is complimentary for active customers and qualified prospects.

Samples & Shipping Policy

Manta ships samples through commercial courier services (FedEx, DHL, UPS) using properly classified shipping documentation.

Dangerous Goods Notice

Products classified as dangerous goods require hazmat-certified packaging and compliant documentation. This may extend shipping time by 2 to 5 days and incur additional handling fees. Non-hazardous products ship via standard courier timelines.

All samples include:

  • Proper GHS-compliant labeling
  • Batch number for traceability
  • Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for the supplied lot
  • Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

For customers preferring a specific carrier or account, we can ship using your shipping account number (FedEx / DHL / UPS). If you have specific shipping, documentation, or labeling requirements, please discuss with your sales representative before sample dispatch.
