Manta AM121 is [(methylcarbamato)methyl]dimethoxymethylsilane (CAS 23432-65-7, ≥97% purity), an alpha-functional silane used as a water scavenger and chain extender in moisture-curing STP/MS, 1K polyurethane and hybrid adhesives and sealants. Its alpha-effect reactivity dries formulations during compounding while the dialkoxy structure builds low-modulus, high-elasticity elastomers; it is comparable to GENIOSIL XL 65.

Manta AM121 is a specialized alpha-organofunctional silane. Its unique molecular architecture features a nitrogen atom separated from the silicon atom by only a single methylene group.
