Manta F1331 is 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyltrimethoxysilane (CAS 85857-16-5, ≥97.0% GC purity, density 1.453 g/cm³ at 20°C) used to build hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings on glass, ceramics and mineral substrates, including anti-fingerprint, easy-to-clean and anti-graffiti treatments. It is comparable to Evonik Dynasylan F 8263 and dilutes readily in ethanol, hexane, xylene, acetone and ethyl acetate.
