Product Description

Manta SPUR M3015 is a plasticizer-free silylated polyurethane (SPUR) prepolymer with 90,000–120,000 mPa·s viscosity and 1.02–1.05 g/cm³ density, the matrix resin for one-component moisture-curing, low-modulus sealants with high elastic recovery — used in prefabricated concrete joints, road and building caulking repair, high-transparency glass seals and high-movement industrial joints.

Manta M3015 is a silylated polyurethane resin suitable for the production of one component moisture curable sealants and adhesives. Its advantages include a wide range of formulations and adaptation, strong adhesion to a variety of surfaces, excellent chemical resistance and weather resistance, excellent elastic recovery, long shelf life, etc

Applications

M3015 does not contain plasticizer and has a relatively low viscosity, it can be used as matrix resin to produce low modulus sealant and adhesive, used in high elastic recovery requirements of prefabricated PC joints, road caulking repair, building caulking repair, high transparent glass seals and other construction fields and high displacement demand industrial seals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does it matter that SPUR M3015 contains no plasticizer?

Because the resin itself is plasticizer-free, the formulator keeps full control of plasticizer type and dosage, and finished sealants avoid the staining and property drift associated with uncontrolled plasticizer migration. Combined with its relatively low viscosity for a SPUR, it formulates cleanly into low-modulus systems.

Where is SPUR M3015 typically used?

In joints that demand high elastic recovery: prefabricated PC (precast concrete) joints, road caulking and building caulking repair, high-transparency glass seals, and industrial seals with high displacement requirements.

What performance strengths does SPUR M3015 bring versus standard resins?

Wide formulation latitude, strong adhesion to a variety of surfaces, excellent chemical and weather resistance, excellent elastic recovery and long shelf life — the property set that silylated polyurethane chemistry is chosen for in one-component moisture-cure systems.

How is SPUR M3015 packed and stored?

50 kg foil-lined plastic drums, 200 kg foil-lined drums and 1,000 kg IBC totes (customizable). Non-hazardous, 12-month shelf life; keep sealed and dry — the silane end groups moisture-cure on humidity contact.
