Product Description

Manta SPUR M3050 is a plasticizer-free silylated polyurethane (SPUR) prepolymer with 35,000–55,000 mPa·s viscosity, the matrix resin for one-component moisture-curing, medium-modulus sealants and adhesives where tensile strength is required — from door, window, kitchen and bathroom sealing to bus, rail-transit and welded-seam industrial sealing.

Manta M3050 a silylated polyurethane resin suitable for the production of one component moisture curable sealants and adhesives. M3050 is an excellent matrix resin for producing medium modulus sealants and adhesives in industrial and transportation applications where tensile strength is required. Its advantages include a wide range of formulations and adaptation, strong adhesion to a variety of surfaces, excellent chemical resistance and weather resistance, excellent elastic recovery, long shelf life, etc.

Applications

M3050 resin does not contain plasticizer and has relatively low viscosity, it can be used in door and window edge sealing, door and window waterproof sealing, kitchen and bathroom mildew proof and waterproof sealing, floor sealing, high transparent glass sealing and other construction fields and bus seam sealing, rail transit seam sealing, tricycle weld sealing and other industrial sealing.

Frequently Asked Questions

SPUR M3050 vs SPUR M3015 — which should I choose?

M3050 is the medium-modulus, strength-oriented grade with lower viscosity (35,000–55,000 mPa·s), for industrial and transportation sealants where tensile strength matters. M3015 is the low-modulus, high-elastic-recovery grade (90,000–120,000 mPa·s) for high-movement joints such as precast concrete.

What applications is SPUR M3050 proven in?

Construction: door and window edge sealing and waterproofing, kitchen and bathroom mildew-proof waterproof sealing, floor sealing and high-transparency glass sealing. Industrial: bus seam sealing, rail-transit seam sealing and welded-seam sealing on utility vehicles.

What resin-level advantages does SPUR M3050 offer formulators?

It is plasticizer-free with relatively low viscosity, adheres strongly to a variety of surfaces, and delivers excellent chemical resistance, weather resistance and elastic recovery with long shelf life in one-component moisture-cure formulations.

How is SPUR M3050 packed and stored?

50 kg foil-lined plastic drums, 200 kg foil-lined drums and 1,000 kg IBC totes (customizable). Non-hazardous, 12-month shelf life; store hermetically sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
